City Guide - Auburn, Nebraska
Accommodations

Palmer House Motel

(402) 274-3193
The Palmer House is newly renovated. Its rooms are big and warm, and its right down Highway 75. Call for room prices and more information. Hey, its Pastor Steve's favorite place to stay!

Arbor Manor

(402) 274-3663
This is a great place to stay for the whole family! The north rooms overlook the reletively-recently-built high school stadium. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is the place Danielle's family stayed every weekend we'd visit Nebraska.

Auburn Recreation Complex

Call Mary Krueger at (402) 274-4193
For those dedicated to camping (even in the middle of a Nebraska winter), there's no better place in Auburn to hook up your RV or peg down your tent than the Auburn Recreation Complex. Located northwest of the new ball fields this place is a great escape for the whole family!

Local Restaurants

Pizza Hut

(402) 274-4391
Yummy pizza chain with delivery available 5-8 every night. Local employment opportunity--especially for high school students. It has one of the best salad bars in any Pizza Hut anywhere... and the Sunday buffet goes quicker than, well, the Monday one.

Great China Buffet

A fabulous place to have "traditional" American-Chinese food. Located in the heart of downtown, this chinese buffet is the best in Auburn's history. With all sorts of choices from sweet and sour chicken to crab rangoon to strawberry ice-cream (which, I must say, is best when eaten with chopsticks) you'll have one heck of a time deciding exactly what you want. Wait a minute! Its a buffet! You can have it all! Carryout also available.

Things To Do

The Park
Just north of downtown Auburn.

Since I'm sure all of you are really looking forward to visiting Auburn (if you don't live there), I know you'll want to check out the town park. Its got some great sidewalks and trees and stuff. If you were to come on memorial or labor day you would see one of the greatest flag displays around. Its pretty awesome. Theres some swings and stuff for the kiddies... so don't miss out!
